The Ray Glass Memorial Peace and Society Fund Award

The Women's Studies Program is pleased to announce the creation of the Ray Glass Memorial Peace & Society Fund Award. This award will be given out annually to one undergraduate and one graduate student. Student eligibility is based on:

  1. A Women's Studies Faculty member who nominates students on the basis of Papers written on topics relevant to the general theme of Peace, Justice and Gender. Papers are to be limited to 15 pages for undergraduate and 25 pages for graduate students (including notes and bibliography).
  2. Nominations are due at the beginning of the Spring Semester and will be reviewed by a c/ee of Women's Studies Faculty.

Announcements of award winners will be made in mid-Spring. Each winner will be given an award of $100. It is our hope to name runner-ups and invite the students to present their papers at a half day colloquium sponsored by the Women's Studies Program.
